Dr. Amanda is a family chiropractor who specializes in gentle chiropractic care for pregnant moms, infants, and children. She is passionate about helping babies thrive through improved function, mobility, and nervous system regulation. To that end, Dr. Amanda works closely with lactation consultants and other pediatric providers to support breastfeeding success, with a special emphasis on infant body mechanics, oral function, and feeding challenges.

New patients are scheduled for 30 minute appointments (see also what is included in new patient visit). Returning clients are scheduled for 15 minute appointments. However, times may vary. Like any doctor's office, please anticipate wait time before your appointment. Being on-time for your appointment helps us stay on schedule!
Yes! After scheduling your new patient exam, you will receive a link to complete your paperwork; all forms are completed on-line. We request your forms are completed no later than the day before your appointment. This will help keep things moving smoothly when you check in.
Yes! Although Dr. Amanda’s specialties are related to infants and pregnant women, she has provided general chiropractic care to everyone.

Although every body is different and care is customized, on average we see babies turn out of the breach position within four-to-eight visits.
When performing a physical exam on a baby (less than 1 year old), Dr. Amanda checks for cranial asymmetries or uneven spots to help determine what care is needed.
Maintenance care refers to future visits that help maintain the corrections we have already made. Although every patient is different and care is customized, the average patient returns every four weeks. Consider it like an oil change for your car to help keep it running in good condition!

A new patient visit includes review of patient and treatment history (completed prior to your appointment), proposed treatment, a physical exam, and an initial adustment (dependent on physical exam). On average, a new patient visit is 30 minutes but care is customized and times may vary.
Babies with oral restrictions and/or oral ties have tension in the body and structures surrounding the mouth. Chiropractic care can help release that tension. For oral ties, pre- and post-release chiropractic care is critial to address tension in the surrounding structures and help adapt to new mobility, respectively.
